Postpartum Services

Why Hire A Postpartum Doula:

Do you wish you could clone yourself? Wish that you had someone you trusted to care for you and your baby (WITHOUT judgment)? Wish that you had read just one more book, taken one more class? Are you feeling overwhelmed or like you need an extra hand? Would you like to shower or nap without worry? Are you worried about getting a good night’s rest? Finding a routine? Setting your baby and yourself up for good sleep habits? Having issues with feedings? Depression? Anxiety? Whatever your needs may be, hiring a doula can help!

Research has shown that parents who receive postpartum support have greater success with breast/chest feeding, lower incidence of postpartum depression, lower incidence of abuse, and feel more confident in their adjustment to new family dynamics.

My Philosophy:

My goal is to promote happy, healthy, well-bonded families. I believe that all families with a new baby deserve extra emotional and physical support during the “fourth trimester”. I help new parents learn to read their baby’s cues, teach newborn basics, help with feeding, and provide night time care for the baby so that the parents can sleep! I believe that parents being well rested, supported and cared for is essential to their emotional well-being, which is directly related to the well-being of the newborn and to the bonding process.

“JenGraham = Superwomanbabywhisper! I learned so much from you and have been implementing your tips since you left! Because of you, I’ve gotten the baby to smile tons now throughout the day with our new playing routine. So cool!! I love it!”
